Best Buy to sell iPhone 3G on Sep 7
Finally, a retail chain be able to sell iPhone 3G to public. Best Buy, the largest electronic retailer in the US, is going to offer iPhone 3G in their 970 stores. I assume all of it are located across the US (or probably in Canada too). This must be a strategic move by Apple to boost the phone’s sales.
Yet, supply issue is still Apple’s burden. Apple has asked for production increase, since product supply is still way below the demand (overdemand). Apple declined to discuss the supply issue. “We continue to ship iPhones daily,” Apple spokeswoman Natalie Kerris says.
