Nokia launched N3610 in clamshell design
Once upon a time in 2002, some of you should have recognized the series 3610 from Nokia. It was a cellphone that met the requirement of a low end market. It is a candy bar, monophonic, not yet colorize, supports only SMS and EMS, WAP 1.1, etc.
But now, 3610 has evolved. It is no longer a candy bar, yet a clamshell. Nokia had changed its monophonic with polyphonic or MP3, monochrome with colorful QVGA display, and much more. Some additions that set this quadband as a mid-end cellphone instead of a low-end one.
Here are some Nokia 3610 phone specifications:
- quadband (GSM 850/900/1800/1900)
- a spacious keypad
- 1.3 Megapixel camera
- 6x digital zoom
- 2″ screen QVGA display
- 262K colors
- up to 4GB optional microSD cards
This Nokia 3610’s renaissance will be available in the Q3 this year. Price is affordable enough at EUR 125 (US$186.314) before taxes and subsidies.
Here is the classic N3610 series.
