Panasonic P706ie and NEC N706ie for DoCoMo
Japan’s largest mobile operator, NTT DoCoMo, is about its latest series created by Panasonic and NEC. The launching date is set on August 15 (tomorrow). Both products are going to use numerical code 706ie. The difference is in initial alphabet. Panasonic is coded with P, while NEC with N.
Panasonic P706ie specification are as follows:

- 3 inch 262,144 color TFT LCD internal display with 240 × 427 pixels; 0.8 inch black-and-white organic EL external one with 96 × 25 pixel resolution
- 2 megapixels CMOS camera with AutoFocus
- microSDHC external slot
- 570 hours of standby time and about 190 minutes of talk time
The phone is available in 3 color variants, Black, Lavender and Silver.
The second phone is NEC N706ie. The specification are relatively no different compared to P706ie. Yet, it has great battery life. Here are the lists:

- 115 grams
- 3 inch 262,144 color TFT LCD internal display with 240 × 427 pixel; 1.6 inch monochrome LCD external with 96 × 84 pixels
- microSD card slot
- 700 hours of standby time and 250 minutes of talk time
The phone is available in Chianti Red, Shell White and Truffle Brown.
