When I was walking around in one of the largest mall in Jakarta, Grand Indonesia, I got stucked at new Sharp Gallery. The store was sleek and classy. Apparently it was opened since May 30 according to their official information. At first, I was looking for household prices-we all know Sharp is well known as respected electronic maker-like TV, Air Conditioning, and refrigerator.

Suddenly I was stumbled to glass cabinet that displayed several phones. Yes, it is Japanese Sharp phones!! Sharp is the largest phone manufacturer in Japan. I got very excited and asked the representatives about the line ups. She said, the phone is only for display purposes and not (yet) for sale. Good news for us, she furthermore told that Sharp is going to launch Sharp (Softbank) 920SH for Indonesian market! It is predicted next year, by 2009, but she didn’t firm about the precise date or month.

The phone is originally launched on October 2007. 920SH will be boosted with:

• 3 inch widescreen VGA LCD
• Cycloid style
• Digital TV (One Seg-most likely will not work in Indonesia)
• 3G high speed (max 3.6 Mbps)
• 3.2 megapixels camera
• One seg sound with stereo speakers

Actually, the technology is so last year, but it’s Japanese phone. Who can resist? I recalled other series, like 912SH, and 922SH. Unfortunately I cannot take all phone pictures. Maybe I will update it later. So, who says Japan phone cannot be enjoyed by the rest of the world??
