Aha, looks like we’ll smell a sort of gold-gadget again this time. Luckily, this is not a usual candy bar, clamshell or slider handset. It is a watchphone. Just call it M830 - since it has an unknown manufacturer. Actually, on May 8th, 2008, I’ve published a waterproof watchphone called EP2502 (weird isn’t?). But it is not a gold one, in fact, the manufacturer has covered this watchphone with metal.

Compared to EP2502, M830 has some advantages since it comes with some better features such as a 1 GB TF flash memory card (EP2502 gives you only 512 MB) and the 1.5-inch vibrant color touch screen LCD display (EP2502 comes with 1,3-inch display).

One thing you should remember before you purchase this $163 gadget is that because it is a made in China-gadget. Though they dare to give you a one-year Manufacturer’s warranty, still you should be careful. Especially in term of quality of its components.

Look, I’m not an anti-China. Believe me! But I did have some experiences with those cheap, complete yet unique Chinese gagdets. The result was wonderful. It is probably good and works well in seven to 14 days. But after that, just beware. The components will make you frustrated.
