Singapore SingTel’s iPhone 3G price plan
The phenomenal phone is near and SingTel has prepared. iPhone is going to be available in Singapore by August 22. It goes on sale at midnight 22nd August at the SingTel ComCentre, and 24th August from SingTel Hello stores. So it won’t be launched as of this midnight.
In order for preparation, SingTel managed to unveil their special price plan for iPhone 3G package. They offer two (2) kinds of price plan. The first is for existing SingTel price plan-and they give it for free for iThree Plus subscribers-as written in table below:
The second is new iFlexi price plan. It is customized for iPhone with free local data per month, either 1 GB, 2 GB, or 3 GB; depends on the price plan you take. Consumer may get the phone for free if taking the iFlexi Premium package.
Which plan is more suitable with your daily usage? Anyway, more information from Singtel:
The handset will be preset to the SingTel Network. Phones not connected to the SingTel network will not be supported by SingTel. It may work (for Starhub or M1) but you may not enjoy the same iPhone experience as SingTel only supports iPhone 3G devices that are connected to SingTel’s network.
It is unlocked version that will be offered. If you happen to live nearby Singapore, cross your finger to test it with your local operator (especially for Malaysian and Indonesian).
