Google Android-enabled phone to be available on Q4 2008
Finally, we know when eventually grabbing the Android-powered phone. According to Developer Roadmap, the phone-which most likely HTC Dream-is going to be available for public on Q4 2008. Personally I really really interested in testing the Google product myself, since this Linux-based OS looks very fantastic. Let’s cross our fingers that the phone is also available in Indonesia, not like iPhone.
Anyway, this is the official Android’s Developer Roadmap (since 18 August):
- 18 August: 0.9 SDK beta released
- September: 1.0 SDK (pre) release
- Q3-Q4: 1.0 SDK release
- Q4: Android 1.0 device available at retail
