Lonely Planet is available in Nokia phones

I believe Nokia has tons of idea with its GPS section-after acquired Navteq. Now, Lonely Planet-notorious travel books maker-can be reached via your GPS-enabled Nokia phones. User of Nokia Maps can obtain Lonely Planet’s travel destination and download it into phone. There are 100 worldwide destinations that covered. It costs you US$ 13.99.

Stephen Palmer, CEO of Lonely Planet Publication, commented:

This is a genuinely transformational deal, which makes Lonely Planet readily available regardless of time or place. It will help all those questions which travelers frequently have on the road such as ‘What should I explore today?’ or ‘Where should I go for dinner tonight?

Last summer, Nokia bought Plazes, a German company create app to enable users to link themselves to social network situation via GPS. This service has been implemented in Nokia N78 with its geotagging feature.
