Nokia N79: technology and style

The last-but not least-on the announcement of Nokia’s new product is Nokia N79. This is the product for the one who wish to combine technology and style in one gadget. N79 has tons of technology to be unloaded. It has 5 megapixels camera (with Dual LED flash), HSDPA, WiFi, A-GPS, and pre-loaded N-Gage games.

I must say there is little difference between this phone with N85 and N96. The main difference is the absent of digital TV player (only for N96), memory capacity, and screen size. N79 only has 2.4 inch QVGA display and up to 50 MB internal memory (plus up to 4GB of microSD external memory).

The unique thing about this phone is the ability of exchanging phone theme, harmonizing with cover changing. For example, if we change the cover color to green, the phone’s UI will change to green too! What a great thing to be implemented!

I think there is a flag (in the cover) sensoring what color has been put to the back cover and sending it to the chip, which also transmit it to phone UI theme (in order for color changing). Again, it wasn’t something come up in mind (dull mind of course) until now. It is really really creative innovation.

So, what’s to load in Nokia N79:

  • Dual band HSDPA and Quadband GSM
