Nokia comes with music will hit Asia in 2009
3Gweek has some posts about this issue. We first covered it on December 4th, 2007, at that time, even our managing editor himself who reported the launch of this service, live from Amsterdam. Bravo Budi Putra! (Hey Nokia, invite me also please ….
)
To date, it seems that this revolutionary movement from Nokia has started to hit its d-day. One of UK major news service, FT has reported that Nokia will launch its service in the UK next month. Later, this weird service will spread to Europe and Asia next year.
Asia who?
The closest guess on this case will be Singapore. The reason is obvious; Nokia has launched their 9th Nokia Music Store in this country at April 29th, 2008. Besides Singapore, Australia also has a great chance to become the country which get this service on its earlier day. Lol, the reason is just the same one; Nokia has opened their Music Store there.
On what device it will come?
FT on the same article said that Nokia will bundled this service with its 5310 music series. UK-based Nokia users are able to purchase this gadget with “comes with music” inside with a higher price tag than it used to be. Without this service, 5310 handset will cost you at £70-£80.
Currently, Nokia has closed a deal with three major record companies i.e. Universal Music, Sony BMG and Warner Music. Later, this Finnish is very confident that EMI will also jump into this wagon for soon.
One word for Nokia: amazing!
