Sony Ericsson: no delay on Xperia X1

The Japan-Sweden mobile manufacturer, Sony Ericsson, confirmed that their first Windows Mobile based device will be launched as schedule and not be delayed. Sony Ericsson spokeperson, Merran Wrigley, said: “There is absolutely no delay. The product is on track. We have said it will roll out in Q4 and we are on target to do that.”
The Xperia X1 will join other phones to compete on grabbing christmas gift portion. They are going to compete also with latest BlackBerry and iPhone which previously had been in the market. As part of Windows Mobile family, Xperia is still also struggling with similar competitors like HTC and Samsung. Windows Mobile until now only holds 10% of total smartphone market share. It is still beaten by Symbian, now owned by Finn giant, Nokia.
Will Xperia help Sony Ericsson get out of financial problem?

I really think this will be the mobile to have for 2008.
I’ve already joined XperiaX1.net and I dont even have the phone yet!
This is going to be a massive hit and hopefully redefine Windows mobile, showing Sony UIQ is old news!
