Tired of sophisticated yet complicated phone? Well, some people probably doesn’t need all features offered by a superb phone, like Internet, GPS, FM Transmitter, Bluetooth, even camera. Maybe they only need basic camera feature, with enhance technology in clear voice.

Pantech, Korean third largest manufacturer, behind Samsung and LG, try to help by giving solution. They are creating “Simple Phone” for basic need. The 3G phone, named W62PT is made for KDDI au, second largest network operator in Japan, of course in CDMA frequency.

So, what is the “enhanced basic need” embedded into this phone? Here are the list:

• ‘Clear talk’ :
  The voice in high frequency band may be easily heard by using frequency calibration feature
• Indication for manipulation by light :
  To indicate the user to the next key by lighting up on the keypad
• Eight ‘large’ features provided :
  Font size, lamp, keypad, strap hole, icon, receiving tone, ringtone, clock
• ‘Help’ and ‘Voice Reading’ :
  Manual for each menu entries is loaded on the handset as well as voice reading

I believe this phone is very suitable for those who like to have nice calling experience since it has large screen and quite big of keypads.
