LG KC910: 8 megapixels camera
The battle now move from 5 megapixels to 8 megapixels. After Sony Ericsson unveiled their first 8 megapixels camera, now it is LG’s turn to enter the arena. LG KC910, once discussed 2 months ago, the successor of famous LG Viewty, will be powered with 8 megapixels camera, Schneider-Kreuznach lens.
LG KC910 is claimed to be the slimmest 8 megapixels camera phone, with only 13.95 mm. As comparison, Sony Ericsson C905 has 19.5 mm thick in lens area. It has 3 inch touch screen, larger than any Nokia phones, except for E90 probably.
The phone also has GPS and built in XVid and DivX codec to play the (compressed) movies. Not to mention high speed connectivity with up to 7.2 Mbps in downlink. The phone will be available this October with more detail on capabilities and pet name, just like Viewty, Voyager, Shine, etc.
