Weekly Roundup: 1 - 7 September 2008

Hello, we are back again with weekly roundup for period 1 - 7 September 2008. After missing 2 cycles , we are trying to give you the roundup of what happen in gadget world during the week. Anyway, we would like to say happy fasting for everyone who celebrate it in this holy month of Ramadhan. Forgive us if we have done something wrong, either typological or not.

Let’s get started. This week we have several news from Sony Ericsson, which already released its TM506 with USA’s T-Mobile and the webcast plan showing the official launching of long awaited Xperia X1. Next, we have number of information about Japanese phones. Indeed, they always make us, the rest of the world, get jealous. Last but not least, the Finn giant is always fill the story. All about Nokia under our coverage. Of course, there are more interesting topic which are too bad to be missed!

Sony Ericsson Fiesta

The Japan-Sweden joint venture has scored for the first time to be covered as our main attraction this week. Started with no delay to be on market, the plan of official launching of Xperia X1, which later to be hold until September 15, the long awaited Sony Ericsson phone has made us spoiled with its beautiful curve sliding form factor.

Other news about the 5th largest mobile manufacture in term of share include the launch of TM506 in collaboration with T-Mobile. The phone will be offered in the USA and the first to implement T-Mobile’s AWS 3G spectrum. Next is F305, the gaming phone, which will pre-load 50 built-in games, like The Sims 2, Pinball, Bowling, etc.

Sony Ericsson’s latest project, Project Capuchin, is on our cover by giving developers API to combine Java 2 ME and Flash Lite support. Last one is the concept phone, created by its own fans about Sony Ericsson’s video phone.

Japanese phones on the move

As Asia’s Mobile News, one of our favorite subject is Japanese phones. Created by those samurai genius, Japanese phones always amaze us by bringing superb sophisticated technology with stylish design. We have:
