Sony Ericsson Xperia X1 launch date, confirmed!

Finally, the waiting is almost over. Inspired by the beauty of KF-2 ceramics plate, by late Finn artist Kaj Franck, the Sony Ericsson Xperia X1 will arrive soon, at your nearest store. Sony Ericsson has confirmed the launch date for each countries (and region) for Xperia X1. For Russia, USA, and China, the launch date will be confirmed by local country’s officials.
The Xperia X1 is an extremely stylish handset encased in a real stainless steel body, with a striking arc-slider design, supported by a powerful multimedia ecosystem. The phone initially will be available in United Kingdom, Sweden, and Germany. Later, it will be distributed worldwide, across Europe, Asia Pacific, Middle East, South Africa, and South America throughout Q4 2008. Here are the list:
APAC
- Indonesia, Singapore, Bangladesh, Cambodia, India, Malaysia, Philippines, Taiwan, Thailand and Vietnam
Western Europe

The official global launch of Sony Ericsson Xperia X1 will be held in Tent London, between September 18 - 21, during the occasion of London Fashion Week. Of course, Xperia is one of the fashion icon itself. To accompany the launching, Sony Ericsson also creates new movie campaign, entitled Johnny X. During three week period, one new episode of Johny X will be posted online every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, started on September 22.
Xperia X1 definitely a Sony Ericsson’s masterpiece, a bet of its future. If it were success, Sony Ericsson can have a more space in market share. In other hand, if not, maybe it is time for Sony Ericsson to say goodbye to 3rd place, even 4th place of global market share sales.
