Attention Qantas passenger: Book your seat from your phone!
If you came late to the airport’s check-in counter, probably you can’t get your ideal seat preference. You might get the aisle one, for instance, while you prefer to sit down near the window. But if you are a Qantas passenger, you can select your seat directly from your phone!
Start from early 2009, Qantas is planning to implement a new online check-in options, including paperless check-in to make the process faster and easier. The online check-in portal will allow customers to select their seat online before departure. Once the check-in process is completed, customers will receive a 2D barcode on their mobile phone, portable device or PC/notebook. It will be available to both international and domestic flight.
As part of this strategy, according to Qantas Executive General Manager, Mr John Borghetti, Qantas is working to ensure all services are available for customers with the iPhone 3G. Yeah.
