iPhone 2.1 patch: not resolve 3G problem
A moment after patching to iPhone 2.1 software upgrade, several users has been asked by Computer World about the quality of their 3G’s reception. Although the results quite vary, I can conclude that most of them agreed no significant changes on fixing iPhone 3G connection problem.
Yet, the software update brings boost into regular signal reception. Consumers say more bars (with stable rate) appear in their iPhone display. Still, the 3G connection which differs iPhone 3G from its predecessor still hasn’t been resolved.
There are two lawsuits that targeted on Apple, all are regarding 3G connection promises.
At least two lawsuits have been filed in U.S. federal courts seeking class-action status for claims that Apple deceived customers when it promoted the new iPhone as a 3G-capable device and promised buyers that they would be able to surf on the Web at speeds twice as fast as the original model.
