What’s up “01 Phone” concept?
T3 once shocked us with its mysterious 01 Phone campaign. Now, the countdown has over. What’s the progress now? Actually, The magazine is in need of our supports. Based on your voices, T3 would like to raise petition to all mobile manufacturers out there.
What’s its demand? Simple. T3 just want an uber phone. Top of the top list. It wants to have a phone who has 5 megapixels camera like in N82, perfect music playback like in Sony Ericsson W980, super-slick emailing like in BlackBerry Bold, all features in one single phone, 01 Phone.
Therefore, This UK-based gadget magazine needs our voice to raise the petition. Demanding mobile manufacturer to follow consumer’s need, not vice versa. Now, mobile manufacturers can easily force us to buy several gadgets, since all-in-one gadget will only lowering their profit. For example, we can get both camera phone and music phone (top of the list) in one single gadget, because vendor can drive the sales even more if they can split them up into two different devices!
Personally, I don’t think this campaign will meet its goal. Since of course, vendors have their own need. Still, for me, the T3’s campaign has represent our wishlist, as consumer. Will they ever hear?
