Handango to offer Android apps this November
Handango, a well known place for software purchase (and download), is going to support Android platform by selling the software on November. This is truly a strategic move to boost Android sales since Google Store can’t reach all consumers across the continents, it needs another wide range online store.
Bill Stone, CEO Handango, via email said:
We have many loyal customers that we expect will want to try the Android device but are comfortable purchasing from Handango. What is interesting and exciting for us is that we can offer customers and developers the choice of free and paid applications at launch as well as the ability to purchase them via the Web and then download to their device.
Android platform, based on famous Linux open source really attract developers since it is more open than Apple’s iPhone. The first Android phone, T-Mobile G1, will be available in consumer’s hand by October 21 for USA market.
