Japan survey: 45% mobile phone has GPS-enabled feature
A latest survey, conducted by goo Research and questioned to 1056 respondents, reveals that 45.2% of sample said that they have GPS enabled phones. Most of mobile phone’s users (22.8%) use it about one to three days a month, while 10.9% use it one to three days a week. Still there are about 35% consumers say that although they have GPS-enabled mobile phone, they almost never (or never) use the GPS feature at all.
Yet, the survey does not reveals why most Japanese use the GPS devices (or why not using it). Is it just because they can’t remember the road path or they just think it is a fancy stuff.
