Rumor: Sony Ericsson to create 12 megapixels camera phone
Well, the Cyber-shot brand seems so unstoppable. Sony Ericsson is rumored to develop more pixels to handle, as it intended to create 12 megapixels camera phone. The phone that will carry such camera is codenamed Kokura, a Tube-like touchscreen phone. The phone is said to be equipped with Symbian OS version 9.4 and S60 interface (seems like Sony Ericsson has given up on UIQ?).
Moreover, Techradar wrote:
However, there will still be no 3.5mm headphone jack, or a mini-USB socket for easy connectivity… though we assume A2DP Bluetooth support will be packed in the chassis for wireless listening. Oh, and apparently the new handset will do away with the Memory Stick format developed by Sony, and pop a microSD card in there instead, which would be a big hit for the Sony format.
As this is a rumor, let’s wait for updated trusted source, will ya!
