Firefox Fennec snapshot: Mozilla’s mobile browser
As its promise, Mozilla begins to reveal its new baby for mobile browser wars. Codenamed as Fennec, the large-ears desert fox, Mozilla seems very ready to take back “the mobile web”. The first prototype is on Windows Mobile based, but of course there must be a chance of the app to be ported to Symbian based or Java based software.
There is no information yet, when will the app be launched in public, but I am sure that it will be available before Christmas, most likely in November, since most Firefox browsers were initially launched in November. Also if you notice, the mobile browser has reached 88 out of 100 of Acid3 rank, which is superbly good. Even Firefox 3.0.3 as I use now only score 71 in Acid3 scale.

Firefox Fennec. is it another google “spy”?

Spy - i mean that it transfers some “invisible” for user traffic to google datacenters.
