We know Nokia 7110 back then, when the mobile world in still in monochrome with flip top form factor, similar to current Sony Ericsson W350. It is bulky-of course-has army green look, and has 1000 phonebook items, very big at its time. Now, Nokia wants to resurrect the glory by creating a sliding version of the phone with quite new specs. Not as sophisticated as Nseries or Eseries, but good enough for current day-to-day activity.

Aimed for mid-to-low market, the phone will have:

• Triband GSM/EDGE
• QVGA display
• 1.3 megapixels camera
• microSD slot
• FM radio
• Bluetooth

Seems like the phone will use S40 firmware. The price should be not too expensive. GSMArena thinks the price shouldn’t be higher than EUR 100. Probably this phone will help Nokia achieves its target for christmas sales.
