I don’t know whether Fennec is only going to be a codename, or will be an own brand, but this Mozilla-created-Firefox-based mobile browser finally can be tried-at your own risk-for Nokia Tablet, N800 and N810 series. What, not in Windows Mobile as previously reported? As Nokia Tablet are using Debian Linux based OS, this current news is quite astonishing. They keep it secret until the right time. So, I guess the browser-soon after reaching its final phase-will be available in all platform, including Java and Android! Anyway, here is the list of its full specs:

Easy navigation to Web content:

• Smart URL bar (”awesome bar”)
• Tabbed browsing with thumbnail images

BGR team has tried it a little bit. Here is their first impression about the long-eared-desert-fox mobile browser:

We’ve played with it for a while and while the look and functionality are fantastic, it’s still slow. When we say slow, we mean sloooooow. The tabbed browsing (pictured above on the left) implementation and navigation controls are awesome - swipe right with your finger or stylus right to open the tabs bar or left to open the navigation menu.
