Sony Ericsson: Android is not our favorite!
Bad news from those hoping that there will be, someday, an Xperia powered with Google’s Android platform. Sony Ericsson’s Chief Architect, Mats Lindoff, the one that is in charge for technical thing, saying his team has already had Android in their testing and seems not impressed by that. He said:
To go with mass production and working with prototypes are two different things… If you want to give every service away to Google, then Android is the perfect solution.
Mr. Lindoff noted that Android wasn’t ready to be launched in the market, at least for now. So, as he said previously, Sony Ericsson most likely will stick to either Symbian based and/or Windows Mobile. It is indeed very bad news for Android fanboys (and Sony Ericsson fanboys too) who would like to see the marriage between these two breeds.

Fine. Afterall, we already have Qt ported to symbian (S60). We can still have our geekery session using Qt.
