Twiggy: Sony Ericsson’s new Walkman phone
Well, we don’t have the photo yet, but the rumor has been floating around, saying the upcoming Twiggy will replace the current W350 as middle thin Walkman phone line up. According to SEMC blog, Sony Ericsson is planning Twiggy to be the most successful handset in 2009 (for your record, W350 sales is not that good). Ups, I think 2009 is the era of business phones, not multimedia phone; multimedia phone probably hypes in 2008 or 2007, but not in 2009! Just take a look at the end result, will ya!
Anyway, here is the most likely specs of this Twiggy, named after iconic supermodel with super skinny body back in the 60s:
- flip design
- 240×320 screen
- Walkman player 3.0
- 3.2-Mp camera.
Twiggy will only have two colors, black as main color green parts. The phone will be release (in the market?) by Q2 2009. We’ll update you as soon as we retain the actual pictures of the phone.
