Mac and T-Mobile G1 can’t sync Calendar, directly
Well, for those who just recently bought T-Mobile G1, there is bad news for you. Todd Ogasawara from O’Reilly Digital Media reported that T-Mobile G1 can’t sync Google Calendar with Mac, directly. It means that we should sync them indirectly. We know that T-Mobile G1 really use its own product intensively, so it is no surprise that the calendar can’t be synchronized easily with other services, including with Mac’s iCal. Yet, finally
In fact, Mac and T-Mobile G1, do recognize each other. Mac can easily notice the present of G1’s external card (while not able to recognize its 256 MB internal memory). Also synchronizing Google Contact can be done with Mac OS X that has been updated, at least to Mac OS X 10.5.3.
The problem comes up when updating Google Calendar to iCal. Seems there is no way whatsoever on synchronizing this two creatures. Finally Mr. Ogasawara got hint from his reader to sync them, indirectly. He uses two links, here and here, and now Google Calendar can be synchronized with iCal, indirectly way of course.
