James Bond phones

James Bond’s latest movie, Quantum of Solace, has hit Asian region starting this week. Played by the British actor, Daniel Craig, this new Bond now always be accompanied by sophisticated phones. The current (or probably forever?) mobile provider for the movies is Sony Ericsson (previously Ericsson). In the latest series, Bond is using Sony Ericsson C902, packed with 5 megapixels camera and colored with Titanium Silver, to help him capturing pictures of the villains.

Last Bond’s movie, Casino Royale, also signed the release of K800 silver. Wondering if James Bond and Sony Ericsson’s agreement was marked with silver colored phone. The first Ericsson phone to be used in Bond movie was JB988, back then in 1997. The movie was entitled Tomorrow Never Dies. I have no idea how big the Bond’s buzz will help Sony Ericsson financial condition which suffers for loss, due to large R&D expense (which resulted Xperia X1?) and global financial crisis.

For sure, Bond is still a Bond. Anything he drives, he wears, or he uses, should definitely becoming collector’s item. As the C902 titanium silver is a limited edition series, why don’t you hurry finding it in near store before it lasts!

There are standard phones, and then there are phones which can be used by models of certain desirable qualities that are present in the mass media. These phones have to have features that the general public does not have yet, and they have to be used in films and TV in a way that they appear as common products to the actors. This serves to bolster the actor’s image in the creation.
