Nokia 5800 XpressMusic in India: USD 440
Nokia India has introduced the latest Nokia 5800 XpressMusic for local public. The touchscreen phone is about to be in the market by January 2009. The price? Well, not that “pricy” as we thought before. Its estimated price is Rs 21,839 or almost US$ 440.
If you are going to seek for Nokia’s answer about iPhone 3G, here is the thing. Powered by S60 5th edition OS, the phone features numerous advantages, including 81 MB internal memory to up to 16GB expandable, 3.5 mm jack, and superior quality of stereo speakers.
Beside that, 5800 XpressMusic will have 3.2 inch display screen, 3.2 megapixels camera with autofocus and dual-LED flash, up to 30 fps of video capturing, built-in A-GPS, HSDPA and Wi-Fi connectivity, Hi-speed USB 2.0 compatibility, Bluetooth 2.0 with A2DP profile.
The music handset will comply with Nokia Music Store, Nokia OviSuite, Nokia Music PC Client, Nokia PC Suite, and Windows Media Player 11.

I’ve predicted that in 2009 will be a lot of cellphone manufacturers that make similar products like iPhone, which filled with multi-touch support.

Wow, I think the Nokia 5800 is a great gadget. Why is India the last place to get the latest technology? It seems a few months behind from the rest of the world.

The models are amazing me! The new model has good hardware configurations but it is little costly for the Indian middle classes. But hope Nokia 5800Xpress music will have good market in India.
