BlackBerry Kickstart and Storm already available in Indonesia?
For those who can’t read fluently in Indonesian, the rest of the ads tell us that Citibank Indonesia through its installment is offering numbers of BlackBerry models, including BlackBerry Kickstart and Storm! We know that Storm has just being released in the US and Kickstart is somewhat not yet available in many countries.
A funny thing, Telkomsel, the Indonesia’s largest mobile operator as BlackBerry partner and Citibank co-branding credit card provider, hasn’t released any information about this availability. Along with Indosat and XL, Telkomsel is the BlackBerry partner for several units, including Bold and the upcoming Javelin.
Kickstart, also known as BlackBerry Pearl 8220, is the first BlackBerry clamshell-form-factor phone, while Storm is the first to have touchscreen mode, not a dedicated QWERTY keyboard. With this information, probably Indonesia is the first country to have these two sophisticated phones in Asia Pacific. So, will you become the first to grab Kickstart or Storm?
