The MVNO between Nokia and DoCoMo is called VERTU Club

We recently brought you the information about Mobile Virtual Network Operator (MVNO) agreement between Nokia and NTT DoCoMo, Japan’s largest mobile provider. As Nokia finally withdrawed its present from the Nippon land, the remains is only luxurious independent line up, Vertu.

Finally, the MVNO itself will be known as VERTY Club, a premium membership through partnership with DoCoMo that will be launched in the second quarter of 2009. As before, on February 19, 2009, Vertu will open its first store in Japan at Ginza. Details of VERTY Club will be revealed later.

However, those who simply cannot wait until the launch of the VERTU Club will be able to purchase SIM lock-free 3G handsets of Ascent Ti, Ascent Ti Ferrari or Signature models for voice calls.
