Part of the joy when Sony Ericsson was finally joining Open Handset Alliance, its spokesman, Garfield Brusewith revealed that the Android phone they are making on is most likely a high end phone. He said:

.. Expect initially to focus on products in the higher segment, but later on we will also supplement with products for the broad mass market..

Definitely he said the higher segment here may means the high-end phone. Later SE will produce mid-end Android phones too. As we know, after the P-series era, the serious candidate for SE’s high-end phone is only X-series (Xperia). The shape and features are really fit with Android phone criteria. So, probably the next Xperia X2 will be powered by Android? Who knows..

The phone is planned to come near you.. next summer! So be ready!
