Huawei builds 3.5G mobile module for Windows 7
The Operating System hasn’t shown up yet, but China’s Huawei Technologies has unveiled its 3.5G mobile module to work for Windows 7, the upcoming Windows OS that hasn’t officially released yet. Huawei is introducing the module in Windows Hardware Engineering Conference (WinHEC) 2008 in Taipei early this week.
Huawei claimed that its fellow Asustek has decided to use its product for its Eee PCs (not yet for Windows 7 of course). Huawei believes that the 3.5G modules will become a standard part of mobile Internet devices in the future. The integrated modem module has became new trend since many netbooks integrate it into its package for added values.
