LG’s new CDMA phone: Ice Cream Phone 2
Korean manufacturer, LG, unveils its new 3G phone, LG LU1600, dubbed as Ice Cream Phone 2 for Korea market. The phone will feature ice cream-ed color in its LED lighting. The phone is the successor of first edition of Ice Cream which was released last April. The second version is 15.5 mm thicker.
When receiving a call or a message, the pastel tone colors of light on the front panel shines. Also, cute emoticons such as heart and smiling face are displayed on the front panel, by using orange colored LED light.
The phone supports EVDO Revision A, which has global roaming service in United States, Japan, and several countries in Southeast Asia. Other features include T-DMB (Digital TV), web surfing, and electronic dictionary.
Released in 3 different colors, snow white, sky blue, and peach pink, the phone is offered by LG Telecom between KRW 400-500K (about US$ 300-400)
