Nokia N97 widget competition: design for winning
Would you like to have the brand new Nokia N97 without losing a single penny? Nokia N97 is the latest line up of Nokia’s multimedia phone, packed with all features you dream of. If you are creative and have talent in designing, why don’t you follow this competition? Nokia is holding Nokia N97 widget competition. The thing is you only design the widget’s interface (in Photoshop or other tool) of what it will be looked like and keep the rest of programming thingy to Nokia.
The example can be seen in Gallery page. Some idea submitted by contestants include Facebook status updater and Nokia Maps alerter.
The phone itself will be available by the first half this year. What’s the prize for the winner? The winning widget will go into production, and the winning widget designer will receive a production-mode Nokia N97 ahead of the public release, pre-installed with their homescreen widget!
So what are you waiting for? The closing date is about another 2 months (exactly on February 27th), so move your brain and create something unique!

Wow, great marketing strategy. Well since it’s going to be a very internet capable mobile phone, then I guess web short cuts will be the most popular to fill the screen. I might just enter this competition, but I’ll first have to brainstorm. Lol!
