BlackBerry Storm in India via Vodafone: January 15
There are more and more BlackBerry handsets entering India. After Pearl Flip 8220, now it is Storm turn to sweep the Vodafone India subscribers, exclusively. The exact date of phone introduction is January 15, 2 days from now. The device is available nationwide in 150 Vodafone stores and modern trade outlets.
What so special about this phone? Simple. It’s BlackBerry and touchscreen. A unique combination. This is the first BlackBerry device carrying touchscreen, a rare combination for business phone category. BlackBerry is well known for its keyboard and easiness to type words. Now, with the hype of iPhone, RIM is trying their luck by creating sort-of similar product.
This device will be offered for Rs. 27,900, which equals to US$ 572. Definitely not bad if there is no plan or lock on it.
