KDDI au’s 007 phone is W63s
Quantum of Solace has quite long passed, but the James Bond aura is difficult to be forgotten. KDDI au, the second largest Japan operator which operates in CDMA network, re-launch the Sony Ericsson W63s with James Bond’s 007 theme. It’s black, limited edition, and emblazoned with 007 logo and “Quantum of Solace” fixture. The phone itself only runs in CDMA 1X WIN network.
To distribute the device, KDDI au is cooperated with regional telecom operator, Okinawa Cellular. The cost is around 13,000 Yen (US$ 110) with contract. Only 3,000 units are offered nationwide, unfortunately in Japan only.
