Samsung SGH W740 with 8 megapixels CCD camera
Quite a while since we heard the last camera phone with CCD. This time, the Korean giant is trying to be in front of 8 megapixels camera with CCD sensor. Samsung SGH W740 is the GSM phone with 8 megapixels CCD camera. The camera features of autofocus, face detection, ISO up to 1600, blink shot, and smile shot function. The form factor itself resembles the trend pioneered by iPhone.
Beside the camera thing, the phone features 3.3-inch WVGA 480×800 touchscreen display, built-in DMB digital TV tuner, GPS receiver, and support for 3.5G HSDPA. Samsung’s TouchWiz UI completes the package. This phone, unfortunately, only available in Korea.
