Huawei’s Android phone at Mobile World Congress 2009
This February, we are going to spot new Android phone coming to town. It is Huawei, the prominent China vendor, that will bring its Android version at Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2009. The even itself will be held on February 16-19 in Barcelona, Spain. According to the official press release, Huawei’s Android will have “one” single UMTS chipset. Until now, we haven’t spotted any leak picture of Huawei’s Android phone, like we already published about Lenovo Ophone, fellow China vendor.
This phone will be the second Android phone to be introduced officially, as the Australia’s Kogan Agora failed to meet the requirement right on time. Other big manufacturers, including Asus, Samsung, LG, Motorola, and Sony Ericsson have committed on developing their own version of Android phone.
Other new products from Huawei are world’s first commercial HSPA+ stick, world’s smallest Wireless Modem, and the latest wireless digital photo display. Seems Huawei is trying to brake several world records in telecom technology.
