Singaporean 9 years old whiz-kid creates iPhone app
What can you do when you are 9 years old? When I was 9, I could barely studying and playing outdoor with friends. I knew computer, for games of course. But this whiz-kid at 9 years old has already published his iPhone application, named Doodle Kids. His name is Lim Ding Wen and he resides in Singapore. Before we go to the kids, let see what this app/games can do:
- Doodle Kids allows kids to draw random shapes in random colors and sizes
- Tap the screen with two fingers to clear the screen
- Tap the screen with three fingers to set the screen to random color
Lim said he wrote this program for his younger sisters, aged 3 and 5, who like to draw. Lim now is fluent in six programming languages and using computer since he was 2. When he gets such ability? Definitely none other than his father, Lim Thye Chean, a chief technology officer at a local technology firm, also writes iPhone applications.
