HTC Dream (with Android) will be available in Asia and Australia

We are enlighten that the Android phone will be available in Singapore is HTC Dream (without G1 label). With the same specs as the T-Mobile G1, the phone will available first via SingTel (in Singapore) and its subsidiary, Optus, in Australia. Optus has already stated that HTC Dream will available starting Feb 16, even with its pricing and plan.

For SingTel itself, there is no exact pricing and date, yet rumor said the phone will start to be offered on Valentine’s Day. This is the first Android phone to be offered outside T-Mobile territory. Definitely this is the first Android phone for Down Under. Poor Kogan Agora for this. No information available whether this phone will arrive outside Singapore for Asia region, but definitely there is slightly chance that SingTel’s subsidiary, including Indonesia’s Telkomsel and India’s Bharti to enjoy the present.

Anyway, below is the table for Optus’ HTC Dream pricing. All plan are in Australian Dollars.

Honestly, I’m worry about the sliding design, especially for hard user who always using the slider for high frequently sliding. Hopes the hardware more stronger.
