Samsung unveils its mobile applications “online store”
Following the success of Apple App store, Samsung unveils its version of application store . Currently only 11 mobile phones supported, including Omnia, INNOV8, and SGH-i780. Yeah, the app store is specific for Windows Mobile based applications.
The version is currently available in GBP (Great Britain Pounds) signaling which country is the main supporter of this online store. The site itself is powered by PocketGear, claimed itself as the world’s largest mobile app store.
Although the user interface is not yet as neat as Apple’s, it is definitely a good booster for Samsung users as loyal customers. Samsung currently is the second largest manufacturer behind Nokia. Together with fellow Korean, LG, Samsung is one of little number which made profits during 2008 global financial crisis.
