BlackBerry App World: get ready for today’s opening
BlackBerry users may cheer for upcoming online store that resembles Apple App Store or Android Market or Palm App Catalog. Entitled “BlackBerry App World“, this online shop is ready to take off as of today. Just register now and prepare your PayPal account, you are ready to buy new app! With this method, people all around the world, including from Asia, is eligible to be the buyer, as long as they have their own PayPal account.
As before, please take a look about pricing which I think “too expensive” compared to iPhone App Store which may cost you “only” US$ 0.99. At least, RIM should provide a very very good app in hand!
One more FAQ found by CrackBerry is that the application can be stored in SD card, thus lowering the possibility of unlimited amount applications to be added. Too bad!
Can the user store applications on an external SD card?
Applications cannot currently be stored on or run from an SD card. BlackBerry App World does not permit the downloading of applications to an SD card.
