Maxis to launch iPhone 3G in Malaysia March 20
Along with its neighbor Indonesia, Maxis Communications Bhd will be launching the iPhone 3G in Malaysia this March 20, offering the 8GB and 16GB iPhone 3G models with various postpaid plans.
Starting from RM100 or roughly US$ 27 per month (US$1 = RM 3.6925), customers who sign up for a monthly commitment of RM375 over a 24-month period, the 8GB iPhone 3G will be provided free of charge.
The Maxis official iPhone 3G launch will be held on March 20, 7pm, at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre (KLCC). Customers, who have pre-registered for iPhone 3G, will be invited to the event to collect their phones.
