BlackBerry Connect for several HTCs is available
HTC has announced the availability of BlackBerry Connect Client 4.0 and Desktop Tools for several HTC devices, including HTC TyTN II, Touch Diamond, Touch Pro, and Touch HD. Although the “BlackBerry support” number is only available for Singapore operators, those softwares can be downloaded and used anywhere. Serial Number which marks the ownership of the HTC devices is the only thing you need to provide.
BlackBerry Connect makes it possible of using BlackBerry expertise in push email in non BlackBerry handset. Most business phones are having BlackBerry Connect available to attract current BlackBerry users on converting. Nokia created major breakthrough by stopping BlackBerry Connect availability in its recent Eseries, like E71, E66, and E63, by creating its own Nokia Email Service to compete head-to-head with BlackBerry as push email provider leader. Push email through mobile device is predicted to be a major communication line for its large data transported and the cheap cost on implementing it, rather than using SMS/text.

Applications that work over multiple platforms are bound to enjoy long term success, especially as consumers want something universal, not something incompatible with everything else. Nobody wants to have to relearn everything when doing something as simple as changing handset brands.
