A new iPhone 2.0?

The Apple's iPhone is definitely phenomenal. It has been sold about 4 million units to date. But seems it is unlikely to meet satisfaction. Analyst at Wall Street predicts that by the beginning of 2008, iPhone has been sold about 5 million, which the reality doesn't speak so.

iPhone is struggling to enter Japan’s market

Apple is dying to enter Japan market. As their desktop (and laptop) dominate the computer market (and vanish Windows into second place), they want iPhone to have same history. Even if they have already made conversation with DoCoMo and Softbank, iPhone is hardly to enter Japan's market.

KTF to bring iPhone to Korea

Korean operator, KTF, confident to bring iPhone to Korea. KTF plans to sell iPhone by next year. "We want to (sell it in Korea), but Steve Jobs has been playing hard (in the negotiation),'' said Kim Yeon-hak, executive vice president.

Nokia opens to cooperate with Apple

Nokia seems admiring Apple a lot. They plan to open to any conversation with Steve Jobs, allowing Apple to sell music via their Ovi web portal, just like iTunes Store. "In Finnish, Ovi means door. And our door is open. Of course, Apple can get into our portal. We even invite (Apple Inc chief executive) Steve Jobs to do so," Vanjoki was quoted as saying. Ovi is a web portal to combine all the music, gaming and navigation services. Source: CNN Money

iPhone in Japan next year?

As Japan is one of the largest Apple market, Steve Jobs finds out big opportunity for iPhone to be brought in. Seems the idea will come true in near future. Apple seeks for partner in either DoCoMo or Softbank.

Coming soon: Chinese interface iPhone!

After conquered North America and Europe, and now the Apple’s iPhone is on its way to Asia. China is really a big market in this region. The Chinese market offers more than 500 million subscribers overall and 1% of that market would give Apple half its sales goal of 10 million devices by the end of next year.

iPhone for invention of the year

Time magazine selected Apple's iPhone as the invention of the year. The previous winner was Google-acquired Youtube. There are five reasons why they picked iPhone above anything else, although lots of complaining come from unsatisfied users.

Apple to open iPhone programming to outsiders

Again, Steve Jobs gave-up. Despite his company is not changing a policy that forbids users from unlocking the iPhone to use it with carriers other than AT&T,but Apple now is opening up the iPhone to the independent developers.

Apple to sell iPhones in France unlocked

Voila. Finally, Steve Jobs gave-up to the France law. He will also sell the unlocked iPhone in French. The locked version will cost €399, but the unlocked's price has not yet been announced by Apple.
