F-secure makes Sony Ericsson UIQ users feel save

For those using UIQ version of Sony Ericsson phone, don't worry on battling against virus and worm. F-secure, a Finnish security company, will help protecting the precious phone from any digital villain. F-Secure said it had developed a trial version of its mobile security product for UIQ. Momail available for more than 1000 mobiles

Mobile email application maker, Momail, has achieved more than 1000 mobile phones supported, 4 times more than closest competitor. "We estimate that more than 300 million mobile phones will be sold worldwide this quarter: In UK alone, approximately 6 million handsets will be sold, and Momail functions on almost all of them”, says Roger Grönberg, CEO of Momail. Momail is free of charge and works on all mobiles with built-in email support.

Sony Ericsson and Quickoffice made multi-year agreement

Quickoffice, Inc., the leading global provider of mobile office productivity software and solutions, today announced a multi-year agreement with Sony Ericsson that includes the Quickoffice software platform on all future Sony Ericsson smartphones. Customers will have fast and easy access to their native Microsoft(R) Office files and will be able to open, view, edit and create documents directly from their Symbian UIQ smartphones.

Nokia’s internet radio service is available

The internet radio service has available for several Nokia phone. To listen to radio shows broadcasted on the Internet, simply download and install the Internet Radio application from Nokia's website and install it onto your Nokia S60 3rd Edition phone. The project is in beta version.

Apple gives iPhone SDK to selected developers

After months of hoping, now developer can create third party application for iPhone. Trigger by the launch of Google's Android SDK and its contest, Apple has started seeding iPhone Software Development Kit (SDK) to selected few developers. An extremely lucky few software developers are reportedly getting rough-draft versions of the iPhone and iPod Touch Software Development Kit. E-book in your cellphone?

Your phone screen maybe only 2 inch or less. It is difficult to use that phone to read something written in thousand lines. But yet, now cellphones have capability of displaying electronic versions of books. Boston-based Houghton Mifflin, agreed to work with Mobifusion, a Silicon Valley firm, to make some of the publisher's reference and children's books available in mobile versions.

Google Talk using unofficial Android GTalk client application
