As being announced before, finally new handsets of Sony Ericsson reach the customer’s hand. The brand new Sony Ericsson K850i, W910i and K770i are introduced in Sony Ericsson Exhibition at one of Indonesia’s shopping mall in Jakarta. The price? Quite reasonable for the features.

This phone, manufactured by SMS Australia, claimed as the smallest phone in the world. The M500 watch phone weigh only 60 gram and has 1.5 inch screen with 120 x 160 pixel. Australia is not really known as phone maker. This must be a big leap for Australian manufacturer.

Unlike other countries in Asia Pacific which already implemented 3G before 2007, India just begun to implement the 3G network by mid 2008. A. Raja, Federal Communication and Information Minister, said that some spectrum for both 2G and 3G services will be vacated by the end of this year.

According to Sony Ericsson Indonesia’s press release, W910i will be launched in Asia Pacific by this October 2007. The new sophisticated Walkman phone will have new feature called Shake Control that has never being implemented in Sony Ericsson line before.

Opera announced that KDDI, one of Japan’s mobile operators, will equipped Opera Widget into its new “au” handsets, Toshiba W56T, Sony Ericsson W54S, and Sanyo W54SA. It is the first widget implementation for mobile technology. The widget is branded “au one Gadget”.

Following the success of its LCD TV line, Sharp unleashed the new Aquos-technology-integrated phone, 920SH. It is part of Softbank new models. The 18 mm thin slim body implemented the technology found in Aquos for clear and superb quality. It is displayed in 3.2 inch VGA screen.

Japan’s mobile operator SoftBank unveiled 10 new models to compete with other operator. Among those new models, 7 are coming from Sharp alone. The operator formerly known as Vodafone prepares the collection for winter 2007 when then sales usually raises up during Christmas and Year End.

Taiwan is one of a few countries in the world which was ready to develop WiMAX. Reuters wrote that Taiwan decided to invest US$664 million over the next few years, as it agreed to work with five major manufacturers to develop that technology.
