Sony Ericsson Delivers Waterproof 3G Handset

If you have to spend your time in deep sea, don't worry, you still can connect to the world, even send your great and exclusive picture to your family members live from the surface using 3G network! While you can’t go deep sea diving with this thing and send off a huge picture and/or video files to your compatriots on dry land, the new SO902WP+ from Sony Ericsson is able to survive for up to half an hour in a metre-deep of water. HP Provides 3G Cards for W-CDMA and EV-DO

HP seems ready to enter the potencial 3G market by providing two kind of card in notebooks for both 3G W-CDMA and CDMA2000 1xEV-DO. Wireless equipment vendor Sierra Wireless today announced that HP has selected its HSDPA PCI Express Mini Card embedded modules to provide 3G connectivity in the firm's forthcoming 6400 notebook PCs. For non-GSM markets such as the US and Asia, the Sierra Wireless MC5720 EV-DO PCI Express Mini Card embedded module will be incorporated in the HP Compaq 6400 notebook. Read more

Telstra Unsure of 3G Customer Numbers

Everyone now speaks about the third generation (3G) tecnology and services. So how far you understand about the future of the high-tech telecommunication industry? Hutchison to Move All Customers to 3G

Sooner or later, moving all recent customers in the existing 2G network to the 3G network is very important policy to do by operator. Since the migration could do seamlessly, hopefully customers are experiencing 3G service sooner. Hutchison Telecommunications will become the first mobile phone provider in Australia to move all its customers to the 3G network as it manoeuvres to keep ahead of the pack of telcos rolling out the high tech service. 3G Vodafone in HP Notebook

The third generation (3G) will come to many commercial laptops. Over the weekend, HP and Vodafone in Ireland revealed that Vodafone 3G Connect Cards will come bundled with every HP commercial laptop. The offer is subject to the customer signing up for a business plan with Vodafone. The promotion is currently available across the entire range of HP laptops. The news comes within weeks of Dell striking a similar deal with Vodafone to embed 3G connectivity within its laptops, followed by HSDPA (high-speed download packet access) functionality in laptops later this year.
