Nokia Launches New N-Gage Games

N-Gage owners get easy access to games through www.n-gage.com/gameshop Today, Nokia launched its first global digital retail distribution channel for N-Gage games. N-Gage owners can now trial, purchase and download popular N-Gage games like Pathway to Glory and Mile High Pinball from www.n-gage.com/gameshop. To access N-Gage content, N-Gage owners simply browse the online catalogs to see what is available and then download their choices to a PC. With a compatible memory card reader and memory card, game files can then be installed to the N-Gage game deck. Nokia Wins GSM Expansion in China

Nokia, a leading mobile networks supplier, recently announced that it has won a GSM network expansion deal with Sichuan Unicom, a subsidiary of China Unicom. The agreement is Nokia's first with Sichuan Unicom and marks a significant milestone for Nokia in entering the GSM market in Sichuan and West China. The deal also highlights Nokia's leading position in mobile softswitch systems deployment in the China area. SK Telecom Launches First 3G HSDPA

SK Telecom proved Korea as the leader of third-generation (3G) mobile network technology with the kick-off of the world's first commercial HSDPA (High Speed Downlink Packet Access) service. SK Telecom introduced today a first-ever 3.5 generation (3.5G) network HSDPA handset and announced the launching of the world's first handset-based commercial HSDPA network. The company has named the new service 3G+ (read 3G plus) to familiarize users with the HSDPA service.
